On the latest episode of ‘The Brutally Honest Show’ the infamous ‘Brown Bomber’ Travis Wolford, joined the guys and talked all about his unfortunate accident in the cage.

What accident? Oh I’m sure you’ve seen it. You know, that cage fighter who pooped himself during a fight. Yup, the one where you see it all over the mat. Yeah, that one.

So Wolford came on the show and handled himself pretty well, showing that he’s not letting the incident get to him and he’s keeping a positive mindset.

“Honestly, I’m just going with the flow, taking it all as it comes.”

“I tried to hold it in as long as I could, but it just didn’t work out too well. I just let it ride. That’s when I tapped, when we rolled over. I didn’t tap from the guillotine choke, I tapped because I didn’t want to get it on him.”

One thing positive to come out of all this, is that he’ll be in the main event the next time he fights……just in case it happens again.

He was asked how he is managing to have such a positive outlook on everything and he said that at first, obviously, he felt really crappy about it and was really embarrassed, but after a little bit of time and some encouragement from his opponent, he started to just roll with it.

“I was a little embarrassed at first, but when I got backstage the guy I fought was waiting for me and shook my hand and said good fight. It got me thinking, you know what ‘sh*t happens, just go with it’.”

And perhaps the coolest thing to come out of all this is that former UFC heavyweight champion Tim Sylvia actually messaged Wolford and gave him some words of encouragement. As you might know, Sylvia had his own ‘incident’ in the cage, where he also crapped himself.

“No he didn’t call me, but I did get a message on Facebook from him, saying just to go with it man, do what you got to do and get back in there, don’t let it get you down.”

So it looks like things aren’t going that bad for the guy!
