Ian McCall

Last night on the preliminary card of UFC 183, Ian McCall fought John Lineker to a decision. The decision saw the bout scored in favor of Lineker unanimously.

Leading up to the bout however, there was some controversy. Lineker missed weight by 5 pounds, marking the 4th time he has missed weight, and ultimately forcing UFC President Dana White to no longer allow him to fight at flyweight, and instead move up to bantamweight.

McCall issued a statement to fans via The UnderGround.

We kill ourselves to make weight, I wasn’t gonna pull out of the fight just cause he didn’t want to go through what I did and let my fans down, Dana knows how hard we work to get down to 125. I’m ready to fight again I’m not even injured at all besides a couple stitches. Who should i fight next now that fatboy is out of the division?
