Vitor Belfort (24-10 MMA) will be looking to earn another UFC belt at this weekend’s UFC 187 event in Las Vegas, when he takes on undefeated UFC middleweight champion Chris Weidman (12-0 MMA).

Belfort is currently riding a three-fight win streak, with all three of those victories coming in the form of headkick knockouts.

The last time Vitor Belfort lost a fight was in a championship bout opposite Jon Jones in September of 2012. “The Phenom” was submitted in the fourth-round by “Bones” at UFC 152, but not before he injured the champs arm in opening round with a very tight armbar that almost finished the fight.

According to Vitor, he feels like he still has Jones’ arm from their 2012 encounter in Toronto and would welcome a rematch with “Bones” should he decide to return to fighting, his words:

“I feel like the arm is still here. Sometimes I go ‘Oh God, where is it?’, Vitor told Combate. “I would love to have a superfight with Jones. It would be a great idea, for sure. The place doesn’t matter, the Octagon is always the same”.

If Belfort is able to defeat Chris Weidman this weekend, would you like to see him rematch Jon Jones in a future superfight? Sound off Penn Nation!
