Henry Cejudo willing to give up UFC title shot to support Nick Diaz

October 2, 2015 9:05 am by BJPENN.COM News

UFC flyweight Henry Cejudo made headlines a little while back when he publicly proclaimed that he would be boycotting Nevada and would refuse any fights taking place there.

This all came after Nick Diaz was suspended for five years by the Nevada State Athletic Commission and fined $165,000 for testing positive for marijuana metabolites.

Cejudo wasn’t the only fighter to say he was boycotting, but his situation is a little more interesting because many believe he’ll be next in line for a title shot soon and people wondered if that would affect his decision to refuse a fight in Nevada.

During a fan Q&A for UFC 192, Cejudo was asked about that and he said absolutely he would turn down a title shot if it was in Nevada.
