Hawaiian MMA veteran, Harris “The Hitman” Sarmiento (36-25 MMA), has officially signed with Asia’s largest mixed martial arts organization, ONE FC, and will make his promotional debut this March.

ONE FC officials confirmed the news yesterday evening with bjpenn.com’s Chris Taylor.

Sarmiento has competed in over 60 MMA fights and has faced some of the best competition in the world, including the likes of Roger Huerta and former Strikeforce title holder Gilbert Melendez. “The Hitman” went 1-1 in 2013, scoring a submission victory over Isaiah Ordiz, and suffering a decision loss to Ryan Mulvihilll.

Sarmiento will make his ONE FC debut opposite undefeated featherweight Herbert “Blaze” Burns (2-0 MMA, 2-0 ONE FC).

The former World “No Gi” Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu champion, Herbert Burns, will look to keep his record perfect when he takes on “The Hitman” at the ‘ONE FC: War of Nations’ event this March. “Blaze” has won both of his bouts under the “ONE FC” banner by way of 1st-round submission, defeating opponents Saulo Eduardo da Silva and Edward Kelly respectively.

ONE FC: WAR OF NATIONS takes place on March 14 live from Stadium Negara in Kuala Lampur, Malaysia. The event’s headliner features Brock Larson and Nobutatsu Suzuki doing battle for the inaugural ONE FC Welterweight World Title.
