Former UFC cutman and long time veteran of the game, Jacob ‘Stitch’ Duran has landed a new MMA gig.

Duran was let go from the UFC because he talked out about the Reebok deal and how it affects the cutman. After an overwhelming amount of support from the fans, media and fighters it looks like Duran will still be working on Aug. 1, just not at UFC 190.

WSOF president Ray Sefo revealed on Twitter that ‘Stitch’ will be apart of WSOF 22, which will take place on the same night that Ronda Rousey defends her belt against Bethe Correia in Brazil.

WSOF 22 will feature a main event between welterweight champion Rousimar Palhares and challenger Jake Shields.
