“GGG” punches his opponent after knocking him down — WATCH!

By BJPENN.COM News - October 18, 2015

Gennady “GGG” Golovkin and David Lemieux took center stage at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night on HBO pay-per-view and brought the crowd to their feet with an eight-round war.

Golovkin got the better of his opponent, just like he has thirty-three times before, and picked up the win by way of knockout. It wasn’t without controversy, however. Golovkin landed a series of shots that led to Lemieux taking a knee for a standing eight count so he could fully recover. Just as Lemieux took the knee, Golovkin landed a stiff shot and was reprimanded by the referee. It was clear that it was a mistake and Golovkin had zeroed in on punching before Lemieux landed on his knee.
