Following Munoz Destruction, Mousasi Wants Rockold, Kennedy

By BJPENN.COM News - June 2, 2014

After a disappointing start as a UFC middleweight against Lyoto Machida, Gegard Mousasi bounced back with an impressive performance over the top ranked, Mark Munoz.

While Gegard may stop short of making any specific call-outs, the former Strikeforce champion explained in the post-fight aftermath that he thinks a bout against Tim Kennedy or Luke Rockhold likely make the most sense.

“I think I’m going to get a win over Luke Rockhold or Tim Kennedy to get a bit closer to a title shot. I’m not calling anyone out but I’m sure I’ll get a winner.”

“I’m not interested in them at all, but I think I get a win, I’m going to get a winner [next]. Kennedy or Rockhold, anyone who is coming off of a win who is maybe a contender. So that is why I think I will get one of those guys, but I don’t know. I’m not challenging anyone.”
