The winner of World Shidokan Championships (the triathlon of martial arts where competitors must demonstrate superlative striking and grappling/submission skills), former IKF(International Kickboxing Federation) Light Heavyweight Champion, San Shou World Champion, former Strikeforce Middleweight Champion and Hollywood actor, Cung Le, sat down with BJPenn.com at his gym in San Jose, Ca before heading out to face Patrick Cote in Las Vegas, NV for UFC 148.
Cung Le was originally scheduled to fight Rich Franklin but was shifted to UFC 147 against Wanderlei Silva when Vitor Belfort broke his hand in training. Patrick Cote steps in to the octagon on a four-fight win streak in regional competition that includes victories over three former UFC fighters (Kalib Starnes, Todd Brown and Crafton Wallace) and, most recently Gustavo Machado.
