Dana White Thinks UFC ‘168: Silva vs. Weidman II’ Will Be ‘Biggest PPV’ In UFC History

By BJPENN.COM News - November 8, 2013

UFC President Dana White has what he is calling a ‘bold’ prediction for his companies last two pay-per-views of the year.

Next week we get to see the company’s top PPV draw in Georges St-Pierre as he defends his title against Johny Hendricks at UFC 167. Next month we are getting the Anderson Silva vs. Chris Weidman rematch.

While on this weeks conference call the UFC boss cast his prediction for these two cards and he believes ‘UFC 168: Silva vs. Weidman II’ will be the company’s most successful card in history.

“Georges St. Pierre is our biggest pay-per-view star. Chael Sonnen argues with me and disagrees with me, of course because he’s on the card, and Georges St. Pierre is obviously the biggest star we have in pay-per-view, but I think 168 will beat it. As we get closer, you get more of a feeling on what you’re going to do. I know this is a bold prediction, but I think 168 is going to be the biggest pay-per-view we’ve ever done.”
