‘The Ultimate Fighter 17’ contestant, Uriah Hall, was one of the most hyped fighters to come out of the UFC’s reality-television show in recent years.  Two losses later, and Hall is fighting to just keep his job, according to UFC President Dana White.

UFC middleweight Uriah Hall (7-4) is fighting for his job when he steps into the cage at UFC 168 in December.

The runner-up from Season 17 of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ was touted as one of the best prospects to come out of the reality-television show, but has thus far been incredibly underwhelming.

In the finale to TUF 17, Hall was heavily favored against Kelvin Gastelum.  As the fight went on, however, Hall failed to really do much and lost a split decision.  His next fight went much the same way, as Hall lost another split decision to John Howard in a relatively uneventful fight.

When UFC President Dana White spoke with media in Brazil, he said that Hall is looking at his make-or-break fight.

I don’t ever think of matches as the loser leaves town unless you’re talking about Uriah Hall’s next fight.  Uriah Hall needs to win a fight, or Uriah Hall will be leaving town.”

Hall’s next fight has been set against Chris Leben at UFC 168.  Leben (22-10) has lost 4 of his last 5 fights.  He has fought for the UFC since his stint on the first season of ‘The Ultimate Fighter’ back in 2005, earning himself a 12-9 record in the UFC.

Hall and Leben will meet at UFC 168 on December 28.  The event will be headlined by the rematch between Anderson Silva and middleweight champion, Chris Weidman, as well as the second fight between UFC women’s bantamweight champion, Ronda Rousey, and Miesha Tate.
