Dana White Confirms Anderson Silva vs. Chael Sonnen Set For 80,000 Seat Soccer Stadium In Rio

Much has been speculated on about the middleweight rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen.

The who’s, the what’s and the where’s have now been answered by UFC president Dana White.

Originally thought to take place in Sao Paulo, Brazil, the rematch between Anderson Silva and Chael Sonnen is now set for an 80,000 seat soccer stadium in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

The UFC president stopped short on confirming exact dates or name a venue, but he did confirm that 80,000 Brazilians will get a chance to fill a soccer stadium in their home country and watch Anderson Silva attempt to defend his title against Chael Sonnen for a second time.
