D.C. Willing To Postpone Knee Surgery For Title Shot

During yesterday’s edition of ‘UFC Tonight’ the crew gave an update on the status of the UFC’s light-heavyweight title picture.
The UFC is trying to put together a rematch between Alexander Gustafsson and Jon Jones, however, Jones wants a crack at Daniel Cormier.
Ariel Helwani spoke on the topic during the broadcast, stating, “…I spoke to Daniel Cormier, and he said he’d delay any knee surgery to fight Gustafsson or Jones, but only for a title or interim title.”
For now, no news on the direction the UFC will allow this to be played out, but according to Dana, its Gustafsson vs. Jones or nothing.
