Cris Cyborg: ‘Tito Ortiz is like family… The UFC Makes me sad…’

“I cannot make 135 (pounds) now, and I’m really happy with Invicta because they opened the door for me. I love fights. UFC doesn’t have my weight class and it makes me sad… I’m happy at Invicta.”

Fresh off her devastating TKO win, Invicta FC featherweight champion Cris “Cyborg” Justino talked about her relationship with her team, Tito Ortiz, and her thoughts on the UFC.

The UFC has stayed out of the Cyborg business, until recently signing her on loan to Invicta.

The longtime WMMA staple has been lobbying for a scrap against Ronda Rousey for years, but neither the promotion, nor the fighters have been able to work out their “weighty” differences.
