On Saturday at UFC 193, Holly Holm put a beating on Ronda Rousey en route to a brutal head kick KO that saw her claim the UFC women’s bantamweight championship from Rousey.

Following the win, many fans took the opportunity to praise Holm for her flawless performance while bashing Rousey for her sub-par performance.

Holm spoke to TMZ to discuss the win, and defend Rousey.

“I think people can be pretty brutal, and when you’re in the spot shes in, there are people that are just going to jump ship and I don’t ever wish for that.”

Holm then added in:

“I have a lot of respect for her.”
