Donald Cerrone

Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone boasts an impressive 12-3 UFC record, with his only losses come to the champ, and two title challengers.

That string of good wins, and dominant performances doesn’t come cheap, as Cerrone explained at today’s UFC 182 pre-fight media event.

“Twenty thousand dollars. That was just strictly bringing guys in. Bringing guys from the East Coast is like $1,000 roundtrip. Feeding them, paying them, so costs me right around $20,000. But yeah, would you pay 20 to win 100? Because I would.”

Cerrone faces undefeated lightweight prospect Myles Jury in Saturday’s UFC 182 co-main event.
