Carlos Condit: Knee is healing nicely, but no timetable for return

By Chris Taylor - May 20, 2014

Former UFC interim welterweight champion Carlos Condit recently took to twitter to give his fans an update on his injured knee. Here is what “The Natural Born Killer” had to say:

@CarlosCondit: “For all the people asking, the knee is healing really nicely. Rehab is going great. No clue when I’ll compete again though.”

Condit suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) and partially torn meniscus during his co-main event fight opposite Tyron Woodley at March’s UFC 171 event in Dallas, Texas.

Since losing a title unification bout to Georges St. Pierre at UFC 154 in November of 2012, Condit has since gone 1-2 inside the octagon. Condit’s most recent win came over Martin Kampmann, whom he TKO’d at August’s “UFC Fight Night 27” event in Indianapolis.
