Fighting for a Generation re-lives the brutal early days of the UFC, when Royce Gracie and his unstoppable jiu-jitsu tore through the tournament.

With the UFC on the biggest stage in MMA many of us who witnessed the early 90’s matches were truly brutal.  Heavy reform of the sport took place in the late 90’s which eventually led to a sanctioned MMA event at  UFC 28, under the New Jersey State Athletic Control Board‘s “Unified Rules”on 2000 .

The benefit that most MMA supporters of those early days saw was an opportunity to separate fantasy martial arts from highly effective martial arts.  UFC allowed the growth of the sport and most importantly the truth within the martial arts style and technique.
