The UFC has added an exciting welterweight fight to the UFC Fight Night 32 card, pitting young prospect Brandon Thatch against veteran Paulo Thiago.
Thatch (10-1) made his UFC debut last month at UFC Fight Night 27 defeating Justin Edwards inside the second minute of the fight by TKO. All of Thatch’s wins have come in the first round, with an unbelievable 6 fights ending within the first minute (4 of those in less than 20 seconds each).
In Thiago (15-5), Thatch will be facing an opponent with much more Octagon experience as well as considerably more time spent in the cage. Of course, Thiago has seen his fair share of difficulty during his last few years in the UFC. With a 5-5 record in the UFC, Thiago has lost 4 of his last 6 bouts. Coming off a unanimous-decision victory over Michel Richard Cunha dos Prazeres at UFC on FX 8 in May, Thiago will be looking to keep his momentum going with a win over the younger Thatch.
It is unclear if Thatch and Thiago will fight on the main card as the bout order has yet to be determined. The main card, however, will be headlined by a rematch between Vitor Belfort and Dan Henderson.Tags: belfort-henderson 2, Brandon Thatch, henderson-belfort 2, mma, MMA NEWS, Paulo Thiago, ufc, ufc fight night, UFC FIGHT NIGHT 32, ufc fight night 32: belfort vs henderson 2, ufc news
