Bobby Green and Donald Cerrone were scheduled to fight last September. That fight didn’t happen when the UFC decided to replace Green with Eddie Alvarez.
Green was excited to fight Cerrone because of some bad blood between the two men. Green says it’s from a few “racist” remarks Cerrone made to him at a UFC expo a while back. Cerrone has since denied the comments.
Green told The MMA Hour that he still wants that fight and even though both men are currently on different levels of the playing field, he’s confident that they will meet up eventually to settle their score.
“At the end of the day, the truth shall prevail and I guarantee you I’m gonna see him. The truth shall prevail. I will see him. My talent will show. I will see him sooner or later. You can run, you can hide, but I will get you.”
