On September 21st BJPenn.com Radio had another stacked show with former Bellator MMA champion Daniel Straus, Walel Watson, and top ranked UFC heavyweight Travis Browne.

Kicking off the show was Daniel Straus, who spoke about how despite feeling like Bellator wanted Pat Curran to be the champion, he still upset the champion in their first meeting. Straus spoke about his rejuvenated passion for the sport and where he hopes to go going forward as he faces Justin Wilcox on October 3rd.

Next up we had Walel ‘The Gazelle’ Watson, who spoke about everything from his MMA career to fantasy football. Walel, who is teammates with Richie Martinez, who was on the show several weeks ago, will be assisting Martinez and his brother in opening up a new 10th Planet JiuJitsu school in California. Walel will be fighting Anthony Gutierrez at Titan FC 30, and spoke about his aspirations to return to the UFC someday, and how every fight outside of the UFC is a gamble.

Last but certainly not least is a Travis ‘Hapa’ Browne, who was on a tear of the heavyweight division with 3-wins in a row coming by way of knockout before being defeated by Fabricio Werdum earlier this year. Hapa spoke about his upcoming fight against Brendan Schaub, his reasons behind leaving Greg Jackson’s gym to go to Glendale Fighting Club, and what went wrong in his fight against Fabricio Werdum.
