"Big Country" Fools Us All | No Intentions Of Dropping Weight Following Facebook Challenge

March 28, 2012 9:16 am by Pedro Carrasco

Remember when Roy Nelson put his faith in UFC fans to decide whether or not he would stay at heavyweight or drop down to 205 pounds?

Well, apparently it was all just a dirty joke.

It was about a month ago that “Big Country” went on record and proclaimed that if he received 100,000 likes on his facebook fan page within a two week period that he would dedicate himself to diet and training and drop down to the UFC’s light-heavyweight division, where his frame is more suited.

The likes flooded in, we here at BJPENN.COM supported his decision and helped promote the competition for “likes” to his facebook, but Roy has backed off and decided to not honor the challenge.

At least for now…

Head to page 2 to see the video where he addressed this issue and laughs it off.
