Benson Henderson Set to Defend Title Against T.J. Grant at UFC 164

UFC lightweight champion, Benson Henderson (19-2) is officially schedule to face top contender T.J. Grant (21-5) at UFC 164 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

UFC 164 takes place on August 31, at the BMO Harris Bradley Center.

Henderson last fought Gilbert Melendez, winning a close split-decision over the former Strikeforce lightweight champion. The fight was closely contested and was marred with post-fight controversy.

For T.J. Grant, a stunning first round knockout over Gray Maynard cemented his spot as number one contender back at UFC 160. This win was his fifth in a row, and his second consecutive win by cringe-inducing knockout.
