Last weekend’s Bellator 53 event was another ratings failure for the Mixed Martial Arts promotion on MTV2.

Scoring an average audience of just 103,000 the event marks the lowest viewed show in the Bellator series.

The week prior, Bellator 52 bounced back with the promotions second most viewed event, however, last weekend’s ratings indicate that the promotion is struggling to find stability with their audience.

Featuring the semifinal round of their season-five welterweight tournament, Bellator 53 took place at the Buffalo Run Casino in Miami, Okla. Both Ben Saunders and Douglas Lima picked up victories during the MTV2 broadcast to advance to the series welterweight final.
