BEEF! Matt Mitrione And Matt Hughes Go At It On Twitter Over Diaz Suspension

UFC heavyweight Matt Mitrione didn’t really like what UFC Hall of Famer and former UFC welterweight champion Matt Hughes had to say about Nick Diaz’s recent controversial five year suspension.

Hughes, the Vice President of Athlete Development and Government Relations for the UFC, put out a tweet saying that he felt the five years was excessive, but added that he didn’t agree with Diaz’s attitude during the hearing and thinks that probably didn’t help him out.

Well, Mitrione caught wind of the tweet and began firing back at Hughes for referring to Diaz as a ‘punk.’
