Palaszewski’s last fight was at The Ultimate Fighter 17, where he had a devastating loss to Cole Miller in April of 2013. His debut bout with the UFC was an impressive one, where he made a powerful statement with a KO win over Tyson Griffin in the first round of UFC 137 earning him Fight of the Night honors. He then fought both Hatsu Hioki and Diego Nunes, both fights ending with a unanimous decision loss, but he was awarded Fight of the Night against Nunes.
Palasszewski remains one of only two men (the other being Clay Guida) to defeat UFC Lightweight champion Anthony Pettis.
