Another Athletic Commission Speaks Out –– Calls Diaz Suspension ‘Plain Wrong’

By BJPENN.COM News - September 17, 2015

We’ve heard from tons of fighters who have spoken out about the Nick Diaz’s five year suspension, even a few who have pledged to boycott Nevada because of it.

From UFC champion Ronda Rousey to UFC commentator Joe Rogan, they’ve all showed support for Diaz and have criticized the commissions decision.

Well now we have a member of a different athletic commission speaking out, and guess what? He’s also in support of Diaz and criticized the NSAC for their ruling.

On Twitter, Massachusetts State Athletic Commission member Joseph Krowski Jr., spoke out and said the decision by the NSAC was ‘plain wrong’ and ‘ludicrous.’

Here’s what he said in his Tweets!

-good for fighters taking a stand. As a commissioner usually don’t criticize other commissions but this was plain wrong

-I’m advocating for a change in policy and a re-evaluation of how we treat marijuana

-A 5 year suspension for a non performance enhancing substance is ludicrous

It’s refreshing to see someone else in their position calling them out on their screw ups.
