Alvarez: ‘I broke my nose and orbital in fight vs Melendez’

Eddie Alvarez might have come away with the victory this past weekend when he fought the always tough Gilbert Melendez, but his face certainly doesn’t match the results.

Alvarez blew his nose between rounds and caused his left eye to blow up and severely swell instantly. The lightweight took to his Twitter and let fans know the extant of his injuries.
