UFC flyweight Ian McCall posted on twitter this Thursday:
This is after the 17 days he spent in jail. McCall was originally sentenced to 30 days in jail after being pulled over and was discovered to have two outstanding warrants in his name. McCall’s attorney, George Vargas states the warrants included one related to not completing 20 days of Cal Trans work stemming from a 2008 charge and the other for not showing up for court for a driving on a suspended license ticket that he thought he had handled.
McCall paid all the necessary fines in regards to the suspended license ticket, but was not aware that he had to appear in court at a later date as well. A warrant was issued for McCall’s arrest. The jail sentence was mandatory due to the previous arrest and probation violation.
