Last week, news broke that the UFC chose not to renew its contract with Roger Gracie. It now appears that 5 more fighters have suffered the same fate, as the UFC has removed their profiles from the organization’s online roster. The names include Dave Herman, Vinny Magalhaes (pictured), Ednaldo Oliveira, Bristol Marunde and John Maguire.

The UFC has cut five more fighters in the wake of the much-publicized release of middleweight fighter, Roger Gracie.
The UFC’s roster of fighters no longer includes the following: Dave Herman, Vinny Magalhaes, Ednaldo Oliveira, Bristol Marunde and John Maguire.
Following his recent KO loss to Anthony Perosh at UFC 163, Vinny Magalhaes had announced that he would retire if cut by the UFC. It seems the Brazilian jiu jitsu star understood where he stood with the UFC bosses.
Aside from Magalhaes, all the other fighters will most likely seek out other promotions to continue fighting and possibly make a return to the UFC.Tags: Bristol Marunde, Dave Herman, Ednaldo Oliveira, john maguire, mma, MMA NEWS, roger gracie, ufc, ufc cuts, ufc news, vinny magalhaes
