Shogun And Lombard Open As Heavy Favorites Over Vera And Boetsch | UFC News

Former Bellator Middleweight Champion Hector Lombard is set to make his UFC debut at UFC 149. In his first UFC bout he faces Tim Boetsch a former Light-Heavyweight now Middleweight who is currently on a three fight win streak and undefeated as a Middleweight.

According to Nick Kalikas from Lombard is the sizeable favorite coming into the bout. Lombard comes in -310 favorite with the comeback on Boetsch at +240.

In the UFC On FOX 4 main event former Light-Heavyweight Champion Mauricio ‘Shogun’ Rua will take on Brandon Vera.

Shogun (20-6) is coming off a loss at UFC 139 where he was defeated by now Light-Heavyweight number one contender Dan Henderson. Vera (12-5) returns after a win over Eliot Marshall at UFC 137.

Rua opens as an expected favorite in the fight with -290 odds and Vera the underdog at +220.
