The UFC released German fighter, Sheila Gaff, reported a German website,

This announcement comes less that two weeks after Gaff’s second straight loss in her 6 months fighting for the UFC, both of which came in the form of first-round TKO’s.  The first of these was Gaff’s debut fight against Sara McMann at UFC 159; and the most recent came at the hands to Amanda Nunes at UFC 163.

For the 23 year old Gaff (10-6), the cut simply means she will continue to build her career elsewhere.  Presumably, she will fight either back in her native country of Germany or for the growing, female fight organization, Invicta FC.

Disappointments and defeats belong to every fighter in this career,” Gaff said, “but I will go on.  Most of all, I am sorry that I could not show my fans what I can really do.  In the last two weeks the love and uplifting words from many of my fans have helped.
