And we have it on good authority, my insider has told me, that the fight has been set for the Fox card in December. So we’re gonna get that fight.“
This past Thursday, former UFC fighter, Nate Quarry took to his hosting gig over on Spike TV’s “MMA Uncensored Live” to discuss the recent insults to BJ Penn thrown out by Jon Fitch. Towards the end of his rant, he leaked a bit of news linking the cancelled UFC 152 bout between Penn and MacDonald to UFC on FOX 5 rumored for early December.
Multiple media outlets have reported the bout is set, however, UFC officials remain silent on the topic and have yet to confirm or deny the supposed reschedule of the welterweight bout.

Wait so is he scheduled to fight fitch or rory?
fitch is a bitc*, and rory is a scrub who conveniently got injured to postpone the fight 2 months so he can try and clean his steroid abusing system.
Yeah that is true. But we all knew that. Nobody cares about Fitch and he knows it.
But as far as this fight with Penn and MacDonald happening in December; I think it is a good opportunity for Penn to get in good shape. If he can turn that fat into muscle and work that cardio then he could be a real pain in Rory’s face.
That is the thing with these WWs. They all want to fight Penn because they KNOW he does not come in shape. They have the size to do nothing in the fight for two rounds except for tire him out and get a decision.
If Penn was in shape and came in shape all the time these guys would be afraid of him.
I would love to see Penn finish Rory. But I have no faith that he will be in shape like a champ should be. He proves it time and time again.
I know he will not take this time to train and look like a beast. So after he loses this fight with MacDonald he will retire and be forgotten.

Fox, oh yah, time show the world what a badass BJ is.
Just to clarify, BJ Penn fought machida at a catchweight. Lyoto weighed in at 234 which means BJ fought a heavyweight. Everybody always screws that one up. He did not fight a light heavyweight, he fought a heavyweight in Lyoto machida and he took him to a decision. Lyoto has knocked out the best of the best and he couldn’t take BJ out. No knock on Lyoto with this one because I really love watching him fight. My point is that BJ is basically one of the only true warriors in the UFC who will go up in weight and lay it on the line. Don’t forget, BJ was considered the best lightweight in the world at that time so he layed a lot on the line for that one.
