NOT IN CONTENTION: MAIA, CHRIS W, LOMBARD (one of my favorite fighters, but c’mon man!), Tim Boetsch, Mayhem Miller (since we’re throwing MW names out there, lol!) Shoot, if Wandy wants to go to 185 again, throwing Wandy vs Anderson. If they’d fight. That would end Wandy’s career within, maybe, 2 rounds?

This guy is clearly a Yushin fan. Rubber match????? He has never beat Silva and that’s a fact. Silva lost via illegal KO not because Yushin beat him. you can’t declare a victory when you’re laying on your back sleeping after someone kicked you in the face.
This guy is 100% right, the other guy is smoking rocks, but bisping should get a shot after he fights another top contender
I’m no weidman fan but he deserves the next shot…there is no one else who’s earned it or even deserves it for that matter. The only other person i would consider would be Bisping because he’ll try and put up a fight but if he loses against STANN down the ranks he goes again.

Bisbing or vitor if they get by stann and belcher.it would of been nice to see lombard get the next shot at silva.but his lackluster performance against Tim kind of killed it.if gsp gets past condit,they need to make that happen already.gsp would be a challenge for silva.its not much options at this point cause silva cleaned out the division,but those 3 options are the only ones I can think of.

Weidman without a doubt, Stann only lost 2 fights ago, Bisping lost his last fight Vitor lost to Silva and Belcher and Boetsch both to need to get 1 or 2 more… Just give Silva Weidman or GSP!

He’s good but hasn’t proven he’s worthy yet. Munoz was back after an elbowsurgery lay-off, totally out of shape looking all pudgy n stuff. That fight wasn’t enough to propel him into the #1 spot.
Bisping has a pretty decent record and paid his dues inside the cage. Weidman fought 5 fights against a few nobodies and an out of shape Munoz.
So I think if Bisping beats Stann it should be Bisping.

That was a controversial decision. And Munoz was not fighting like a top5 contender either. Weidman hasn’t beaten any quality fighters yet.

Give Anderson who he really wants for his last fight, which is GSP. The reason he is pushing for this fight so much is because he probably wants to retire. Give him what he wants.
He said at the post fight press conference after silva vs sonnen 2 that he felt good and wasn’t considering retirement yet. He said he was gonna keep fighting as long has he can. Remember Coture people. Silva could probably hang around for another 5 years or so if he wanted to. He doesn’t take that much damage and he still has lightning fast reflexes.

Belcher,hes the most well rounded always finishes hes really undefeated in his last 7 fights if u include him getting robbed by akiyama,people will see what i mean when he beats vitor belfort
I don’t understand ppl saying bisping deserves a shot before Weidman…..bisping lost all of his big fights and hasn’t won a top ten fight , yet Weidman beat maia and Munoz….#8 and 3 in the division but yet he hasn’t beaten anyone. You guys need to listen to what you are saying…Cain was 9-0 with a belt….chad mendes was 10-0 when he got a title shot….how many top ten wins does he need ?…he is ahead of everyone else including bisping and is easily top 5…but all that matters is that he IS the #1 contender.
Bispings loss against the former #1 contender Sonnen was controversial. Bisping faced better opponents than Weidman and he’s been doing that for a few years now.
Weidman has only beat a few nobodies and an out of shape Munoz. Weidman barely beat Maia on a split decision….You saw what Silva did to Maia. Munoz wasn’t fighting like a worthy #3 contender at all.
Let Weidman beat one real in shape contender to earn it. Meanwhile, if Bisping beats Stann he should get the shot.
Also Maia probably doesn’t deserve to be #8. Let’s be honest.
in all honesty if hendo beats jones then i bet he will call out anderson for a HUGE SUPERFIGHT REMATCH!!

@BRENDEN bisping BEAT chael sonnen. chael got gifted a decision over bisping, when all he did in that fight was a solid 5 mins of lay n pray. bisping was robbed by wanderlei. only number 1 contender match bisping ever lost in my eyes was that ko loss to hendo. how the **** can weidman be number 1 contender when he hasnt beatin vitor, bisping, chael, stann, lombard or even boestch. he beat a tired ass maia and a OVERRATED sloppy in munoz.
Can we start putting him in there with 2 featherweights? That’s about equal to one middleweight…see what seagull really taught him

Vitor or Bisping.Whoever wins there next fight more convincing.Tho i think Bisping will lose to Stann.And GSP will never man up and fight Anderson,he might wait till Anderson turns 40 and starts slowing down then wanna fight him.Vitor is coming off 2 ruthless 1st round finishes and is about to have a 3rd on Belcher,after he does,GIVE IT TO VITOR!!!
I doubt Silva will be fighting at 40 in my opinion Silva is going to retire on top…The UFC should just make the Silva/GSP if GSP can beat Condit its the fight the fans are going to want to see and the fight that will make the most money and bring a lot of attention to the sport they need to do it whilst they are still on top and both champions!

I say Bisping, Chris W., and Vitor at this point. We have some fights coming up that may change this. Ether way I still think Chris needs to fight ether Vitor or Bisping to get a shot at Silva. If Rashad moves down as he said he would I’d love to see him fight one of these 3. If he wins he should be number one or number 2 in line for a title shot. Depends on the outcome of the up in coming fights. However I think Bisping has been around long enough and if he beats Stann then I think the UFC owes him a title shot given his performance against Sonnen. I’m pretty sure Silva will wreck him but that’s nether here nor there. Earning it and being able to win are two different things. Chris needs to fight someone that hasn’t been out on injuries and without a doubt has proven they are a top contender.
Dan Henderson would be best guess next to Anderson’s clone.

I would love to see Michael Page come to the UFC to face off against Silva…all he has to do is put on a few pounds….it would be great to see a young up and comer who is going to fight for that belt and try to earn it…compared to the other contenders who “talk the talk but can’t walk the walk”…a battle of 2 unorthadox counter strikers facing off would make it anyones game
I would love to see MICHAEL PAGE recruited to the ufc for a couple fights and hands down that belt will be his….whether he chooses to dominate middle weight or welterweight the belt is his for the taking…stylisticly PAGE would be SILVA’s toughest fight to date even though he is still on his way up
