33 Comments to MMA POLL – Who ya got, Maynard or Guida?

  1. Mine will be the only comment. As i’m pretty sure nobody gives a **** about this fight.

    • Reality says:

This is a good fight that anybody can win. Guida is always in exciting fights and Maynard may have some new tools in his bag. Should be interesting.

      • dude says:

yea really, this fight is no big deal.. guida lays on you and pets you while thrashing his hair around. Not exciting in my option at all

  2. I’m pretty sure nobody gives a **** about this fight.

    • Really says:

I’m pretty sure you’re dead wrong.

    • zg420 says:

Im pretty sure you are super wrong this is the #1 contender fight for the lightweight division how doesn nobody give a ****???? stupid ass trolls

      • Toolman says:

Definitely not a contender fight. Pettis is still in the mix.

        • Reality says:

One of these guys already beat Pettis before Pettis beat lesser opponents.

        • FunCrusher says:

Not just that Pettis has a win over the CURRENT champion. I don’t see how either maynard or guida skip ahead of Pettis or Diaz

        • FunCrusher says:

Nate Diaz is in the mix as well. Gray or Clay would have to steamroll though the other in impressive fashion to skip ahead of Pettis and Diaz.

        • Rodriguez says:

Diaz lost to both Guida and Maynard…so of course they jump before him…and I say Pettis still needs to work his way up.

        • GET RID OF FITCH says:

Well we won’t have to worry about Lay N Clay like we saw in Pettis fight because Maynards wrestling is on a whole different level than Guida. Maynard will throw Guida around and have his way with him. Guida is overrated because he creates the illusion he is doing 10 times more than he actually is with that rats nest hair flying around everywhere. Maynard will crush Guida

        • dude says:

seriously. 100% agree. If guida didn’t use rogaine his career would be over

    • Mike b says:

Dude something is wrong with u.

  3. Wrestler66 says:

I went Maynard ! Guida is a solid fighter but I can see Gray stuffing desperate takedown attempts and punishing him

  4. Lol says:

Guidas style is so fkn boring!! He fights just to get unlimited hugs without looking gay with his sweet ass(no homo). I got maynard stuffing his desperate takedowns and ko him in the second or third

    • Jeff says:

Out of Guida’s last 4 wins, 3 were by submission, one decision. Just say you don’t like him, he’s not boring.

  5. WrestlingRules says:

Maynard is too good. Sorry, no finishes here though. UD Maynard.

  6. rondo says:

Rootin for the carpenter, only way he wins is if he can take Maynard into the 4th and 5th rounds. Guida’s never been finished on the feet, but as we all know grays got some power behind his punches, this one will probably go the distance…with Guida gutting it out!

  7. stemm says:

Guida is taking this he went tit for tat with Henderson and gray got tired by round 2 of both his last fights hes a good fighter but clay is going to put a pace on gray that he wont be able to keep up with so I see gray looking good round 1 but its all clay after that

  8. T.DADDY says:

    Maynard all day..

  9. M0JADO says:

GUIDA! And how is this fight now important Guida is suppose to be the next contender

  10. stephen riddle says:

If u dont respect the carpenter then **** u he brings all he has to the octagon thats all i have to say.

  11. Clay says:

Clays going to win forsure. He’s going to come in pissed off that he has to braid his hair. Hopefully his style confuses gaynerd

  12. BJC says:

Maynard does not have the cardio to hang with Guida

  13. m says:

Gray showed he couldn’t finish Edgar. Guida never quits. Should be a 5 Round War. Its as close to an Edgar Maynard rematch we’ll get.

I see Gray edging Clay by decision, but pulling for Clay to get a submission finish.

If Gray can show he has learned a lot since his title fights and KO or submit Clay he might get a shot at Pettis or Bendo soon.

  14. ry tay says:

you’ve always got to expect anything in a guida fight. both have good wrestling and great stand up. anyone can win

  15. NoahPlata says:

Look for technical wrestling (not lay and pray) and flashes of standing exchanges should be a great fight. I picked Guida.

  16. mike says:

Guida is all wrestling, and maynard is a bigger stronger better wrestler.
