MMA Poll: Should Women Be Invited To Fight In The UFC? | UFC NEWS

Womens MMA is becoming more and more popular.

With standouts like Miesha Tate, Ronda Rousey and Cris Cyborg the state of WMMA is better than ever.

UFC president Dana White has recently been vocal about the possibility of bringing the girls over, but hasn’t pulled the switch yet.

Should he?

  2. Keep Fitch (Forever) says:

No women should not compete in MMA at all. Those dishes arnt gonna clean themselves, that food isnt gonna cook by itself, the house is not gonna get cleaned by itself?? WTF these ladies should know their roles and know who gave them rights.

    • cammeron says:

say what u want but these ladies can kick ur ass and i know a few girls that r in mma and they r good at what they do its ok that ur butt hurt about tho made me lol

      • Tim says:

I swear it’s like this guy above me is trying to speak english. “lol ur dumb derp derp R DUR THO R”

      • Axeholes says:

Speak from your brain, and not from your heart, Cammeron.
The question was “should Women Be Invited To Fight In The UFC”.

And no, not every MMA fighter out there can kick your ass. Just because someone is an MMA fighter (even a pro-MMA fighter) doesn’t necessarily mean they’re a good fighter in general, and they might have some trouble in a street-fight against someone who trains to kill or cripple for life.

Even Tito Ortiz has been known to get “thrown” out of bars by bouncers. Just because you’re an MMA doesn’t mean you’re made of stone.

    • Axeholes says:

You’re more suited to talking crap about women in a Golden Corral Buffet forum.

Please refrain from leaving comments on the internet that would otherwise get your ass kicked, if you had the health to take a single step out in your front yard.

  3. Mat says:

Women MMA is in so in diapers that is ridiculous. Theres not enough talent to build up a good roster. I think this could make the events realy boring and would be a terrible decision to make.

    • Axeholes says:

I second that notion. If they do induct women into the UFC, it simply has to be the very, very, VERY BEST FIGHTERS the world of women’s MMA has to offer.
This means all the fighters have to be almost on the same par with the Rousey’s, Cyborgs, Coranos, Conens, etc. That’s why men’s MMA is so competative and every fight you’re bound to see an upset or champion dethroned.

Even my girlfriend (who’s a BJJ Blue Belt) says she’s seen at least three instances in Ronda Rousey’s last two fights where Rousey could’ve been submitted by a strong and athletic BJJ expert who can take damage, and go for submissions with 100% ferocity.
No one’s even attempted to really put her in the guard, and sucker her in for a submission. It all just points to gradually increasing (but still lacking) overall skill in women’s MMA.

  4. TheTude says:

Lets just have Ronda Rousey have a nude training session live in the octagon, or have Arianny and the new asian girl duke it out, no hair pulling please. Talk about ratings!

  5. martin says:

yes they should be allowed in. there will be more decent women fighters coming through also. and they would hold the own against against some of the guys at the lower end of the scales. i”ve seen some competitive mixed bouts and the women have fought well in them and won quite a few.

  6. devin says:

Hopefully smart enough to know that this will be a very bad idea.

  7. Makes me Crazy says:

nooOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Its like the New UFC division… flyw. or what ever.. who is there to fight who..? in like 7m you could see all fights its ok & i hope the divis. grows.. but not the same like B. LW , WW or any… & bc of 3 girls you wanna make a new div. bc of 1 girl R.R. bc you wanna make Fucking $$ With her fuck that and your $$ to make $$ is not bad but to tell al its 4 the sport not 4 the money… shit is not truh or do some better decisions.. like if they want or not let fight Silva & GSP & give this fuc*king troll Sonnen Griffin & Dan bc he was 1st in line the TUF or if he can’t give it to Lyoto… stuff like that… !!! Stuff like that is not 4 the FUC* KING Sport Dana W. you FUC*KING Bit ch MF its 4 your pocket… the damn $$…

  8. Mars the Avenger says:

I think it’s a good idea. There may only be two elite fighters (not counting Steroid Santos) but there are many other fighters. Similar to the MW division. There’s talent, it’s just top heavy.

  9. J says:

Its a ridiculous concept, woman fighting in a cage, I have neices, cousins, my mum and my sister, aunties and grandmas, the idea of a female cage fighter just distorts my views on what the world is becoming. I love MMA and enjoy the training and getting together with mates on a sunday for PPV events its a big part of my life as it is for most fans and MMA hopefuls but anyone who wants to see women fight are sick and twisted and for any corporation looking to endorse it are just greedy and pathetic.Women have clearly grown tired of being the loving caring kind ones of the two genders which for children is going to send the wrong message. All you psychotic mindless grubs who enjoy the idea need therapy.

  10. Random guy says:

    Ronda Rousey vs Faber…go!

  11. fucker says:

    fuck is great

  12. Gouldx87 says:

YEAH lets have women in the UFC cause you can really name some good fights that people give a fuck about seeing like …..oh right nobody cares there are 2 women that have any form of star power in the world and they dont fight in the same weight class. UFC bringing in women is just to water down more cards with fights noone wants to watch but noone listens to the fans anyway so get it done

  13. KIDD433 says:

Bad idea.would definetly unstack the ufc cards
