“Today was a great victory for myself, as well as victims of DV everywhere. Please continue to speak out, and stay strong! Thank you all for your support through the years, please continue to support others in similar situations, and BELIEVE them.”

War Machine is of course facing life in prison as a result of his conviction following a length trial complete with horrific recounts of not only the incident which saw Koppenhaver knock out several of Mack’s teeth, break 10 of Mack’s bones, fracture her eye socket, and damage her liver, but also recounts of past incidents in which Koppenhaver physically harmed Mack.

Mack’s mother recounted an incident in which while she was living with the pair, she was forced to take her daughter into the bathroom for safety after a fight resulted in Koppenhaver dragging her daughter upstairs by her neck and stating that he would kill her.

The incident for which Koppenhaver is currently on trial is the one that saw him leave Mack with numerous horrific injuries, to the point that both a police officer and Mack’s own mother couldn’t recognize her at the hospital due to the extent of her injuries.
