Wow! Talk about a Throwback Thursday!

Check out a very young Rory MacDonald in his second professional fight against Ken Tran at the KOTC – Anarchy event. The fight took place on Feb. 11, 2006, at The Station, Prince George, British Columbia, Canada. Fellow UFC veteran Patrick Cote also fought in the main event.

MacDonald said in his pre-fight interview, “First time here in the King of the Cage. Just want to have fun and show my skills.”

Regarding his skillset as a young man, the 16-year-old that has become a star in the UFC said, “pretty well rounded. I think I like stand up for training, for this fight.”

At such a young age and start to his career, MacDonald politely addressed his opponent:
“Ken Tran, I just hope to have fun out there and see you in the cage.”

Check out the not so old Macdonald take on his opponent with a quick finish in the first round!
