It has been nearly two months since Jose Aldo was knocked out by Conor McGregor at UFC 194, where he lost the UFC featherweight championship.

Since then McGregor booked a lightweight title fight against Rafael dos Anjos, verbally assaulted RDA at the UFC 196 press conference, and convinced UFC President Dana White to change the poster for the event.

On the other hand, Aldo has campaigned for a rematch however Dana White pointed out that the first time the UFC booked McGregor vs. Aldo, Aldo backed out of the fight, then when the pair did fight Aldo lost in 13 seconds.

Despite that, Aldo was randomly tested by USADA earlier this week, but has since returned to training following the loss.
