Fight week is upon us as UFC 212 takes place this weekend in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
UFC featherweight champion Jose Aldo and interim champion Max Holloway will fight in a title unification bout in the main event while #1 UFC ranked women’s strawweight Claudia Gadelha will take on #2 ranked Karolina Kowalkiewicz in the co-main event of the evening.

Jose Aldo is coming off an impressive performance at UFC 200 in July of last year, winning an interim title over former lightweight champion Frankie Edgar by unanimous decision. Max Holloway is also coming off an interim title third-round TKO win over former UFC lightweight champion Anthony Pettis at UFC 206 in December, being the first man to stop the former champ.
Claudia Gadelha is coming off a unanimous decision win over Corney Casey at UFC Fight Night 100 back in November. Karolina Kowalkiewicz is coming off the first loss of her career, which was a unanimous decision against the conquering champion Joanna Jedrzejczyk at UFC 205 in November.
