UFC featherweight champion Conor McGregor caught quite a bit of criticism prior to UFC 200 for refusing to attend press-related events. Ultimately, McGregor was pulled from the event for refusing to fulfill his media obligations.

Interestingly enough, in the wake of UFC 201, newly crowned UFC welterweight champion Tyron Woodley revealed that he didn’t want to promote UFC 201 during fight week.

He spoke on Speak for Yourself with Jason Whitlock.
