VIDEO | Two men imitate Conor McGregor on the street, then he appears

December 24, 2016 10:21 am by Evan Bell

When two men in downtown Dublin, Ireland were imitating UFC lightweight champion Conor McGregor on the sidewalk, they never could have imagined what was going to happen next.

As you can see in the video, the two men are imitating McGregor’s movement in fights, pretending to throw strikes at one another. Suddenly, one of the men turns around and walks past a Cadillac Escalade which was waiting at a stoplight. Much to the men’s surprise, the man sitting shotgun in the car was none other than the ‘champ champ’ himself, Conor McGregor.

McGregor was posting photos of himself and his friends throughout the night, however a bystander managed to catch the entire encounter on camera.

As you can see in the photos, as well as the video, McGregor is wearing the same outfit, and it can be assumed he is riding shotgun in the same Escalade as he is in the video.

While UFC President Dana White has stated that McGregor will be taking 10 months off from fighting, the ‘champ champ’ stated in an interview this week that his ‘break’ could merely just be a Christmas break. McGregor’s comments threw fuel on the fire of talks of his first potential lightweight title fight.

UFC President Dana White then followed up McGregor’s comments by stating that the UFC brass was looking into holding an event in Russia, and that McGregor vs. Nurmagomedov could very well be not only McGregor’s first lightweight title defense, but also the UFC’s first event in Russia.
