Tony Jeffries knows boxing when he sees it.
The former Olympic Games 2008 bronze medalist and seven-time British & European Champion boxer owns and runs the Box’N Burn gym in California where Conor McGregor sparred with former IBF and IBO champion boxer Chris van Heerden recently.
Although Jeffries and van Heerden hold slightly different views on McGregor’s boxing skillset, Jeffries had a lot of praise for the skillset of “The Notorious” from what he saw first hand in his gym, and still holds the same tune.
Jeffries even says that McGregor’s training session in his gym has gotten him a lot of exposure and has gotten him the most praise in his life, despite being an Olympic medalist, former model, and entrepreneur.
