Former UFC bantamweight champion TJ Dillashaw is currently gearing up for his upcoming UFC 213 scrap with recently crowned UFC bantamweight champion Cody Garbrandt.
Ahead of Dillashaw’s grudge match with his former teammate, he has enlisted the help of gold medal olympian Vasiliy Lomachenko. The duo have been seen in videos sparring together on numerous occasions, where Dillashaw has praised the olympian for his excellent angles.
Now, Dillashaw has released more footage of himself sparring with Lomachenko via Instagram. Check it out above!
In a past video of the pair sparring, Dillashaw praised Lomachenko, saying:
āHe put it on me. Heās animal. Heās a cardio machine. He doesnāt give you a break. So much respect. Just to share the ring with the guy was amazing. I would never pass up the opportunity. I wish I was in a little bit better shape, but it was amazing.ā
āTurning you into punches, thatās his thing,ā he said. āHe gets those angles where you canāt find him. Youāre looking, and as soon as you find him, heās hitting you. It was amazing. Iām a guy who wants to use angles and use footwork, so I can learn a lot from him. I really hope I get to continue to work with him.ā
The training with Lomachenko is likely to help TJ Dillashaw prepare for the boxing of Garbrandt, which saw ‘No Love’ outstrike Dominick Cruz in a spectacular display.
