This past weekend, the UFC hit Cleveland, Ohio for an action packed night of fights. The event saw numerous high-profile wins, including Jimmie Rivera’s unanimous decision win over Urijah Faber, and Bethe Correia’s successful return to the Octagon against Jessica Eye.

In addition, CM Punk made his highly anticipated UFC debut on the main card of the event. Punk, who was signed to the UFC nearly 2 years ago, was quickly taken down by Gall before eventually being submitted in the very first round.

In the co-main event, former UFC heavyweight champion Fabricio Werdum returned to the Octagon for the first time since being KOd by Stipe Miocic earlier this year. In his return to the Octagon, Werdum dominated Travis Browne to earn himself a unanimous decision win, and possibly another crack at the heavyweight strap.

In the main event, Cleveland’s own Stipe Miocic stepped into the Octagon to defend his heavyweight strap for the first time since winning the belt earlier this year. His opponent, Alistair Overeem, quickly dropped the champ in the first round, however Miocic was able to weather the early storm from Overeem, and ultimately picked up a 1st round KO after he dropped Overeem, and then finished the fight with ground and pound.

Above, you can see previously unreleased footage from the event, including backstage footage of CM Punk after his loss, a verbal exchange in the Octagon between Dana White & Stipe Miocic, and more as part of ‘UFC 203: The Thrill and The Agony’.
