VIDEO | Miesha Tate praises Donald Trump for surprising reason

The world of MMA rarely carries over into the world of politics. With Donald Trump unofficially claiming the Republican nomination this week, Miesha Tate was asked about her support of ‘The Donald’.

While Tate clarified that she isn’t necessarily a Trump supporter, she did praise Trump for a pretty funny reason.

Tate is currently gearing up for her UFC 200 title defense against Amanda Nunes, where she will look to defend her UFC women’s bantamweight championship for the first time since winning the belt at UFC 196 when she defeated Holly Holm.
