If you saw UFC strawweight Michelle Waterson outside of training or competing in the Octagon, it’s likely that you would never guess that she beats people up for a living. With a nickname like the “Karate Hottie,” Waterson is known for her good looks and also for her skills as a professional MMA fighter.
TMZ recently caught up with Waterson and her husband and asked the couple an interesting question, “Which male do you think is the most handsome or has the best looks in the UFC?”
“In the UFC? Waterson replied with a laugh. “Uh-oh. Am I supposed to answer this? Chime in. Who do you think?” Waterson said throwing the question at her husband.
“Gotta go with GSP,” said Waterson’s husband.
“Awww! That was my answer,” exclaimed Waterson. “He stole my answer.
“I used to always say that because when I first got into fighting, people were always like, ‘Why are you fighting? There is so many other things you can do.’ And I was like, how come you never ask GSP that? Like, why aren’t you an underwear model? There’s so many other things you can do. But, it’s because you know, he’s a man, but I enjoy fighting.”
When asked if Georges St-Pierre was the male pound-for-pound best looking fighter in the UFC, Waterson affirmed her answer.
“Pound-for-pound,” Waterson said with another laugh. “I would say so. He’s a classic good looking guy.”
Michelle Waterson steps back into the Octagon on December 2 as she takes on Tecia Torres at UFC 218 in Detroit, Michigan. In the main event of the evening, UFC featherweight champion Max Holloway faces Jose Aldo in an immediate rematch after Holloway’s originally scheduled opponent Frankie Edgar was forced out of the fight due to suffering an injury.
