VIDEO | Jon Jones has heated argument with police officer: ‘F*cking with me for no reason!’
Former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones is making headlines outside of the cage with video surfacing of a recent incident with police. Apparently Jones was recently pulled over by a police officer in Albuquerque, New Mexico and issued five traffic citations.
Jones has had previous trouble with the law recently being ticketed for speeding, and an incident involving a hit-and-run accident that resulted in Jones being stripped of his UFC light heavyweight title and suspended from the UFC. Jones has since been reinstated with the UFC after the issues were resolved, but is still on probation.
Jones is seen in the video baffled by the officer’s judgement. The former champion tells the officer, “You are an absolute liar.”
Jones is slated to take on the current champion Daniel Cormier on April 23rd at UFC 197.
