Who could have seen this one coming?

In a surprising headline, video footage has now surfaced of famed actor, singer, and comedian Jamie Foxx defending himself after an agitated man initiated a physical altercation at Catch restaurant in Los Angeles.

According to TMZ, Foxx and several friends were at the restaurant when a man approached the group to complain that they were being too loud. According to the report, the man stated “You don’t want to mess with me. I’m from New York.” That allegedly didn’t sit too well with a member of Foxx’s entourage who fired back by saying “F**k you, I’m from Oakland.”

While there are conflicting reports, all accounts are in agreement that the man initiated the altercation by getting physical with Foxx, who then ultimately wound up securing a modified rear naked-choke.
