A huge brawl broke out at the European Kung Fu championships that took place on May 13 in Lvov, Ukraine.

The clash occurred after an Armenian competitor was taunted ringside by the Azerbaijani camp, according to Reuters.

The melee saw chairs and objects being thrown in the mess of the situation from opposing sides.

European Kung Fu Federation head Nikolay Matulevsky was apparently injured in the brawl after attempting to break things up.

The Armenian and Azerbaijani camps have an intense history that is reported to stem from an “ongoing Nagorno-Karabakh conflict and dispute.”
